Who I Am

Hi, I’m Haley Goddard — a lifelong Disney fan originally from Southern California, just 15 minutes from Disneyland. No matter where life has taken me — from Seattle to Knoxville to Orlando — Disney has always been my constant, my home away from home.

To get to where I am today, which is working at Disney (a lifelong goal), began at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I started my academic journey. But, like many, I took a pause when I realized I hadn’t quite figured out what I wanted to do. Everything changed in 2020 when I returned to school through Starbucks’ partnership with Arizona State University. I earned my degree in Digital Audiences in August 2022, driven by a renewed passion for storytelling, strategy, and digital engagement.

Since then, I’ve explored different academic paths, including Business & Organizational Leadership at Valencia College and my upcoming pursuit of a Business Information Technology degree at North Carolina A&T State University. I’m also currently enrolled in the Google UX Design Certificate course, where I’ve developed hands-on skills in Figma, user research, and prototyping.

For the past three years, I’ve worked with Disney’s Minnie Van team, supporting internal communications and engaging with Cast Members behind the scenes. Now, I’m ready to turn the page to my next professional chapter — whether that’s in communications, UX design, or data analytics. I’m passionate about creating meaningful, user-centered experiences that inform, inspire, and connect.
